Change Co. Summer Box Review

I had been aware of Change Co. new subscription box for a couple months now but had yet to take the dive and purchase it since I already subscribe to the similar CAUSEBOX.  Even so, I had been following along with the Change Co. summer box launch on social media to see what products were included and earlier this week I happened upon a summer box giveaway that Change Co. was running.  I entered, and I won!  I was really excited to get a closer look at the products and share my initial reaction when the box arrived at my doorstep today.

Let's talk products.

There were six items in the Summer Box.
1. Tree Tribe 350ml Eco Bottle: Very cute smaller canteen; for every bottle purchased, ten trees are planted.  Also, Tree Tribe sent a little card with it that has seeds so you can plant the card and wildflowers will grow (gotta check if there are invasive species though before I plant it).
2. Badala Earrings: Stunning studs (my favorite style earring!) and they were made in Honduras by artisans who benefit from Badala's mission of providing market accessibility and business education to them.
3. Planet Love Life Bracelet: Made from 100% marine rope debris, pretty cute and matches my bracelet stack on my wrist already :)
4. "Be the Change" Postcard:  I don't know who made this but apparently it provided shoes to those without.  It's a nice card and I'll probably hang it in my room as a reminder!
5. Pura Vida Pineapple Pouch: I was already familiar with Pura Vida and their products (mainly bracelets) that are made by artisans in Costa Rica.  Pura Vida was also featured in the summer CAUSEBOX, but only with two bracelets. I really like the bright colors and fun print of this pouch and it truly is perfect for summer!
6.  This Bar Saves Lives: These are yummy and I've already been introduced to the brand via CAUSEBOX.  Pretty much a kinder KIND bar.  For every bar sold, This Bar Saves Lives gives food to a child in need.
Although I don't know if this box is different enough from CAUSEBOX to subscribe to, I'll definitely keep watching it.  I feel like Change Co. cares about this box and that it was started more naturally than CAUSEBOX.  I love the little personalized note I received with it and I really loved the explanation of the packaging by ECO ENCLOSE.  CAUSEBOX has a lot of unnecessary frills that Change Co. stays away from.

All in all, I would highly suggest the box if you're new to trying to live a socially conscious lifestyle and trying to find cool new brands.  If you already partake in socially responsible subscription services, keep your eye on this one.  I'm excited for Change Co. to grow and to develop their product more.  This would make a great gift for a friend if you're not quite ready to commit to a subscription yet!

OH AND IF YOU WANT TO GET THE SUMMER BOX, YOU'VE GOT LESS THAN A WEEK TO DO SO!!! Find it here.
