Happy 34th birthday to the oh so lovely Kate Middleton!  She's the closest thing to a real life fairytale princess in my living memory.  Everything about her seems so great, even those riské photos of her in college.  She's real.

I look up to her and love following Kensington Palace on social media to see the latest photos and news.

Kate Middleton inspired look for my Senior Prom

What's it like to go to school and fall in love with a prince?  Seems pretty crazy to me.  Kate grew up as a normal child and she is bringing that "down-to-earth-ness" to her royal family.  She re-wears clothing, takes her own pictures of the family, has a flawless blowout I frequently try to imitate (with little success), and is an advocate for mental health initiatives.

Her and William make the most adorable pair and let's not lie: I freaked out when rumors were released that Pippa and Harry were seeing each other.  If Kate and Pippa both married into the royal family, I may just die it would be so perfect.

I hope year thirty-four treats you well, Kate!  I'll be over here across the pond googling your hair, make up, and fashion choices for the foreseeable future :)
